A few years ago, I offered a Craft Club for 8-12 year old girls that was a really fun class. It seems like a fun summer idea, so I'm bringing it back in a couple of ways this year!

Knitting Club - Tuesdays (mostly) in June - 2:00-3:00pm
This 4-week class will cover knitting for beginners. Supplies will be provided and each student will learn how to knit a basic project. We'll start with a doll-sized scarf and once that is completed, move on to a matching child-sized scarf for each knitter to wear next winter!
I'll be co-teaching this class with Brooke Bratcher and Kayla Bratcher, who are former AGDT students and excellent knitters. To keep the student-teacher ratio small, the class is limited to 10 participants. Minimum 4 students to have the class.
Class will meet June 10, 17, 24, July 1.
Craft Club - Tuesdays in July - 2:00-3:00pmThis 4-week class will feature several different fun projects! We'll be utilizing some basic sewing skills and more as each student makes a colonial (Felicity-style) mob cap, hand-singed flower hair clips, a patchwork pillow, and a doll-sized fleece blanket. Minimum 5 students to have the class.
Class will meet July 8, 15, 22, and 29.
Pricing is as
follows:
Knitting Club - $35
Craft Club - $40
Both - $70
The class costs cover all supplies needed, in addition to the class time.
Registration/Payment Info:
To register for a class:
1. Fill out the registration form – click here.
2. Wait for Confirmation Email. This usually takes me a day or two. :)
3.
Once Confirmation Email is received, submit payment within 3 days.
Payment forms accepted are PayPal, Personal Check, or Cash.
If
I do not receive the tuition within three days of receipt of
confirmation email, your registration will be bumped to the bottom of
the class list (which in some cases will mean that it is no longer
valid).
The
full class fee is required with registration (if this is a problem,
let me know and I’m sure we can work something out – it is a
requirement due to problems I have had in past semesters). Your
registration and payment will hold your space in the class. Note that
the number of spaces is limited and will be filled first-come,
first-serve, in the order I receive the registrations. You can still
email/call to ask about availability, but I can't hold spaces without
your registration.
