This class IS NOT a play. If you want to also sign up for a theatrical production this summer, you can check out our summer play options.
This weekly club will focus on a different historical time period each week. At each session, we will have a hands-on learning experience (such as games, craft projects, etc.) based on each time period. We will learn which things have changed for America's children over the last 200 years, and which things have stayed the same. We are so excited to travel through America's past with our students in this class!
We plan to study the Revolutionary War, Immigration to America, World War II, and the Great Depression, but these are subject to change.
Note that we will likely not be bringing full historical clothing outfits every week, but may still bring accessories and vintage items to wear and touch! We wanted to note this for those of you who participated last year. The class will be a little different this year, but still so much fun!
This class is held at Lees Summit PLAY, 403 SW Ward, Lees Summit, MO.
